About Us

The Association of Professional Mentors and Coaches of Nigeria (APMCN) stands as the foremost national organization representing trained, certified, licensed, and registered professional mentors, life coaches, and their counterparts in Nigeria. Our membership is diverse, encompassing individuals from all educational institutions, both public and private sectors, religious groups, civil societies, professional bodies, non-governmental agencies, and more. APMCN consists of dedicated Members and Honorary Members who meet the stringent requirements outlined in our association’s Bye-laws.

Our primary mission is to serve as the national governing body, fostering an environment in Nigeria that adheres to internationally recognized standards and practices in the field of mentoring, life coaching, and leadership. APMCN was conceived from a shared vision among its founder and a group of concerned Nigerians who were driven by the need for a homegrown association dedicated to professionalism in these disciplines. Our organization champions a distinctly Nigerian and community-centric approach to defining and promoting mentoring, life coaching, and leadership best practices.

To advance the act and art of mentoring and coaching in Nigeria, with emphasis in the well-rounded, well blended, and well-honed professionals, profound in wisdom, learning, skillful in practice, and ethical conduct.

Core Objectives

To provide platform for members to educate themselves on mentoring and coaching.
To maintain and keep register of members in accordance with our bye-laws
To provide collaborate in training activities to members and other stakeholders
To complement government and private organizations’ efforts in human capital and institutional capacity development through co-operation and collaboration.
To engage in genuine national and international mentoring and coaching activities that promote education, socio-cultural and economic values for enhancement of national and international peace, unity and understanding.

To establish and sustain a networking for individuals, government and private organizations in the human capacity development to interact, buy their products and services.

To facilitate infrastructural projects on mentoring and coaching, to stimulate acquisition of entrepreneurial skills and a niche market to empower and provide employment opportunities.
