About Membership

Membership in the Association is both voluntary and accessible to individuals who express an interest in advancing their professional development in mentoring, coaching, counselling, mental health, psychology, leadership, and human resource development. Admission is contingent upon meeting specific qualifications as endorsed by the APMCN Council.

Every member who has complied fully with the requirements for admission and paid his registration fees and first annual subscription as prescribed in the bye-laws may be formally introduced and inducted at any of the association’s function (training, conference, dinners and general meeting).

A member of the association shall be required to be actively involved in the activities of the association and shall be required to be a member of a state chapter and or serve in at least one committee or sub-committee of the association.

Who Should Apply

Individuals seeking personal growth and development, including but not limited to life coaches, mentors, counselors, clergy members, psychologists, CEOs, directors, entrepreneurs, HR managers, consultants, social entrepreneurs, academics, politicians, military personnel, managers, public servants, civil servants, members of NGOs and CSOs, members of recognized professional organizations, as well as those aspiring to achieve prominence in their lives.

MEMBERSHIP (MAPMCN)

Eligibility for membership is provisional upon meeting the following criteria:

  1. Pay for Application Form # 5,000
  2. Complete the on-line application form and submit
  3. Pay for required membership grade fee to the association: 45,000 NGN
  4. A minimum of five years of professional experience post-qualification in Mentoring and Coaching, Leadership, or Any Other Disciplines.
  5. Compliance with the membership prerequisites established by any Mentoring and Coaching Association officially recognized by our organization. This includes being a resident and practitioner in Nigeria or abroad for a continuous period of at least two years.
  6. Possession of Professional Certificates issued by recognized institutions, both nationally and internationally.

FELLOW (FAPMCN)

Eligibility for fellowship is provisional upon meeting the following criteria:

 

  1. Pay for Application Form # 5,000
  2. Complete the on-line application form and submit
  3. Pay for required membership grade fee to the association: 85,000(NGN)
  4. A Member of the Association or any other recognized body of not less than ten years.
  5. Applicant who have made significant contributions to Human Capital Development in Any Disciplines
  6. The Council has the authority, based on the College of Fellows’ recommendation, to confer the status of Fellow upon a full member whom it deems deserving of such recognition

HONORARY AWARD

Honorary Membership:  

A candidate who shall be presented to the council for election as an Honorary Member shall be a person (engaged and not engaged in the profession of mentoring, coaching and leading) who, by reason of his interest in and contributions to the advancement of mentoring and coaching appear-to the council to be suitable for such election. THE AWARDEE WIIL SUPPORT APMCN IN KIND AND CASH.

Honorary Fellowship:  

Honorary Fellowship shall be conferred on any suitable person proposed by the College of Fellows and on the approval of the Council. He shall be a distinguished person who has a special interest in Mentoring, Coaching and Leadership, and who by reason of his position, experience or his service to humanity has contributed a great deal in promoting the aim and objectives of the Association. The procedure of award shall be in accordance with the bye-laws. Honorary fellows are not members of the college of fellows. THE AWARDEE WIIL SUPPORT APMCN IN KIND AND CASH.

Hall of Fame

A Person who shall be presented to the council for AWARD OF EXCELLENCE into the Hall of Fame shall be a person engaged and not engaged in the profession of mentoring, coaching and leading, who, by reason of his interest in and contributions to the advancement of mentoring and coaching appear-to the council to be suitable for such ICONIC AWARD. THE AWARDEE WIIL SUPPORT APMCN IN KIND AND CASH.
